My oil portrait of the Sikh warrior Hari Singh Nalwa from the eighteenth century. Interestingly, when I was putting finishing touches on this portrait, the Dallas Cowboys announced that they were paying homage to the Sikh warrior during the new NFL season by featuring him prominently. Their theme for the season, "Carpe Omnia" (seize everything), surely represent's Nalwa's personality.
